Welcome to St. Mary's School

St. Mary's School Mission Statement

Open to all Cortland County and surrounding area students that it can appropriately serve,  St. Mary's School is dedicated to providing a Catholic PK-6 education and a solid academic foundation while fostering spiritual growth. The faculty and staff are committed to teaching in a constantly evolving environment and to meeting the demands of the ever-changing world around us.

St. Mary’s Christmas Bazaar

This year the St. Mary’s Bazaar will be held on Saturday, November 21, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The cake wheel and the kid’s games were a big hit and enjoyed by all.  These are both located in the cafeteria along with a fabulous lunch menu and seating to enjoy it. The Scholastic Book Fair offers a variety of books for young and old. The Book Fair will  again be located in the Afterschool Room. We are fortunate to have a quilt being offered for raffle. The quilt promises to be a beauty and was made by  the St. Mary’s School Knit Club ~ Sister Harriet, Gail Teeter, Lori Vidulich and Lori Prine. The quilt will be available to view as we get closer to the Bazaar. Tickets are available for sale in the office; $2 each or 3/$5. Make sure you get yours! Attic Treasures will  feature antique and gently used household items. People were standing in line to get a look at these items last year. The basket raffles always offer a nice variety to choose from and everyone seems to want to take one home. There seems to be something for everyone, so please mark Saturday, November 21 on your calendar and join us at the St. Mary’s School  Christmas Bazaar. We hope to see you there!

Look what some of our past and present staff created!  A beautiful quilt to be raffled off at the Bazaar!  If you would like to purchase tickets, stop in the office.

Parents' Guild

The Parents’ Guild officers are in the process of writing a new mission statement for the guild.  This mission will drive the rest of this year’s meetings.    If you would like to have input into the mission or if you have a vision for what you would like out of the guild, please email your officers.
