Mrs. Pamela Palmer - Music
Pamela Palmer has a degree in Music Education from Westminster Choir College where she minored in voice and piano. Her Master's Degree is from Ithaca College where she has supervised junior student teachers and specialized in working with young singers. She has been a member of the SMS faculty since 2006. She holds permanent music teacher certifications in New York and New Jersey; she has taught in public and private schools for many years.
Mrs. Palmer enjoys starting each day with Morning Prayers, working with such a great staff, and is blessed by the supportive families at SMS.
Mrs. Palmer and her husband have two teenage sons, one in college and one in high school. She enjoys reading, long walks in the woods and spending time with her family.
Mrs. Beth Gailor-Art
Beth Gailor joined St. Mary's in 2008 to teach Art. She has a Bachelor of Fine Art degree from the Corcoran College of Art and Design in Washington, D.C. Before coming to SMS, she was a member of the faculty at Corcoran.
Mrs. Gailor is the mother of a student at St. Mary's, and her husband is an alumnus. While teaching at Corcoran, she always considered herself fortunate to be able to work with dedicated and knowledgeable professionals. "I am thrilled to say the same is true at St. Mary's," she said. "The faculty and staff are intelligent and creative. They are dedicated to the intellectual and spiritual development of the students. I am honored to be a part of that effort."
Mr. Sean Mack-Physical Education
Mr. Mack has been teaching PE at St. Mary's since 2007. Sean Mack earned a B.S. degree in Education from SUNY Cortland. He was a substitute teacher for Dryden
Schools before joining the SMS faculty.
He values "working for a school where parents are so actively involved with their children's education."
Mack participates regularly in a variety of sports and outdoor activities. He played four years as a member of the Cortland State varsity lacrosse team. He's also coached SMS Boys' Basketball teams for several years.
