Ms. Julie Hines

Julie Hines has taught at St. Mary's since 1997. "I work with a professional and caring group of people," she says. "I enjoy getting to know all the families that are part of St. Mary's." She enjoys taking vacations with her two children, and meeting with her book club. Ms. Hines has a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from SUNY Cortland with a minor in History. Her Master's Degree in Reading also is from SUNY Cortland. Ms. Hines has two children currently attending SMS.

 

 

 

Ms. Lynn Stoll

 

 

  "I enjoy teaching at St. Mary's for the friendly atmosphere that is shared by everyone. The sense of community and the value of family we experience daily. I enjoy watching the children grow throughout their years here."

These are the sentiments of Lynn Ann Stoll who has taught at St. Mary's since 1996. She has two degrees from SUNY Cortland -- a B.A. in Physical Education, and an M.S. in Curriculum Studies. She served previously as a substitute teacher in Cortland and Homer schools and has experience in child care and kindercare at the Cortland YMCA and Tompkins Cortland Community College. She has New York State Permanent Certification in Elementary Education.

Ms. Stoll is the parent of two children adopted from Korea, Alex and Aaron. Her daughter, MeiLynn, was adopted from China. She has a number of pets and enjoys being outside in her garden during summer months.

 

 

Mrs. Teresa Garcia

 

Teresa Garcia graduated from Evangel College in Springfield, Missouri. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Psychology. She earned a Master's Degree in Elementary Education from Queens College, New York City. She is permanently certified in elementary education in New York State.

Mrs. Garcia says she is "blessed to have a loving school family." She loves singing songs about the Bible and teaching about God. She enjoys being able to share information about Jesus.

Describing herself as "a huge Mets fan," Mrs. Garcia and her husband, Ron, are the parents of two teenage children. The couple have been married more than 23 years.
