Mrs. Molly Andrejko

       

Fourth Grade Homeroom 

 Molly Andrejko joined St. Mary's faculty in 2008. She is a graduate of LeMoyne College where she majored in History and Spanish. She also did graduate work at LeMoyne and has a Master's Degree in Science and Education. An alumnus of St. Mary's, she has previous teaching experience at Lime Hollow Nature Center.

"I received the warmest welcome when I came back to my Alma Mater," Andrejko said. "I am thrilled to be in a place that is so filled with God's love in action."

Andrejko is the oldest of nine children. She loves to bike, draw, and travel. She enjoys visiting places around the globe to sample different cultures. "I am so grateful to be giving back to the School that gave so much to me," she noted.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Miss Eileen Hoyt  Fifth Grade Homeroom 

 With great joy, Miss Eileen Hoyt began her teaching career at St. Mary's School, the very place she began her educational career.  She and her five siblings are all graduates of SMS, and Miss Hoyt is proud to see another generation of Hoyts, her niece and nephews, begin their educational journey at St. Mary's.  Catholic Education is very dear to her as her family has benefited from the Catholic Education System for over the past 100 years.  Miss Hoyt relayed, "I cherish the sound spiritual and academic foundation I received at SMS; I feel blessed and privileged to be back as a teacher at St. Mary's.  I am committed to perpetuating our Roman Catholic Faith and upholding our strong academic ideals."

Miss Hoyt graduated Summa Cum Laude from SUNY Cortland with a BS in Childhood Education (Grades 1-6) and a Concentration in English Language Arts in 2007.  She received her Master's Degree in Literacy Education (Birth-Grade 6) in August of 2009.  Miss Hoyt is a member of Kappa Delta Pi International Honor Society in Education, Phi Kappa Phi International Honor Society, and Tau Sigma Academic Honor Society.  She was the recipient of the Senior Academic Achievement Award from SUNY Cortland in 2006 and 2008.  Miss Hoyt is a New York State certified General Education Teacher (Grades 1-6 ) and Literacy Specialist (Birth- Grade 6).

Miss Hoyt has thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the SMS families and working with students in the 4th, 5th, and 6th Grade Block Schedule.  She also enjoyed helping Miss Reagan coach the girls' basketball team this past year.  She looks forward to the school year ahead!

 

Mr. Evan Butler   Sixth grade Homeroom  

Mr. Butler received a B.S. from SUNY Brockport in History and earned his M.S.T. in elementary education from SUNY Cortland.

Evan is an alumnus of St. Mary’s School and a native of Homer, NY. St. Mary’s has been part of his family as his mother and aunts and uncles also attended the school. He said, “St. Mary’s has been an integral part of my family, and I could not imagine myself at any other school.

The school, along with the church, has made me the person I am today and

I want to share the values I learned there with today’s generation of students.”

In his free time he likes to travel, watch and play sports, and spend time with friends and family. Evan has an older brother, Rory, who also is an alumnus of St. Mary’s.

 

 

 

 

Miss Meghan Dovi  Sixth Grade Homeroom 

Miss Dovi joins SMS after completing her BS in Psycholoogy concentrating in Elementary Education and Special Education at LeMoyne College in 2008.  She received her MST in Health Education from SUNY Cortland in 2010.

Meghan who is also an alumna of Saint Mary's said " I am so grateful for the strong academic and spiritual foundation I built at Saint Mary's and I look forward to helping my students build the same foundations. It gives me great pleasure to know that everyday I am surrounded by individuals who share similar beliefs and values as I do. I honestly cannot imagine working anywhere else!" Meghan is the youngest of three. Her brother and sister also attended Saint Mary's School. In her spare time, Meghan loves running, reading, and spending quality time with friends and family.
