 A veteran as a SMS faculty member, Sheila Guido joined St.Mary's in 1993. She loves teaching whole families with brothers, sisters and cousins enrolled over time at St. Mary's. She says this type of experience allows her to recognize and know new families in the School. "It's rewarding to watch the children grow into bright and caring young adults." She and her husband, Jeff, are the parents of three children: one alum and two who are currently enrolled at St Mary's. Jeff teaches history at Cortland High School and has many of Sheila's former students in his classes.

Mrs. Guido has a B.A. in English Literature and Elementary Education from SUNY Potsdam. She also has an M.S. in Elementary Education with a Concentration in Reading from SUNY Cortland. She is permanently certified in Elementary Education in New York State.  She is also our new webmaster, and the school's Technology Integration Specialist.
