1st Grade

Mrs. Sarah Woodard  Sarah Woodard has a B.S. in Elementary Education and a M.S. in Literacy from SUNY Cortland. Before choosing to put her career on hold “to be a full-time mom,” Mrs. Woodard taught for three years in the Dryden Central School District.

She feels she has been fortunate to have had the opportunity to spend time raising her four children in their early childhood years, but knows she is truly blessed for this new opportunity to be a teacher at St. Mary’s. “My children have been enrolled in the Pre-K program here and for the last eight years I have come to know and love EVERYTHING about this wonderful school!”

Mrs. Woodard, her husband, Steve, and children, Cameron, Catherine, Liam and Quinn, live in Cortland with their dog, Daisy and parakeet, Gubby. They love amusement parks, sports and family movie night.

They also enjoy sharing special time with family and friends.
